I am a pre-9/11 caregiver to my Husband, who is 100% service-connected vet.
We have a primary care Doctor at a clinic in a good size town in California. Due to my husband’s declining health, I need to make numerous appointments. There is always a long wait. Even to get through to the call center has often taken 2-3 days! Now, here is what bothers me. THE CLINIC IS ALWAYS REALLY EMPTY! We have never seen any of the clinics with a lot of patients! With all that we are made to tolerate in wait times, etc. I am perplexed with this…something is not right.
I am nervous writing on this, but hope to add to the conversation. We have been dealing with the VA since 1976. Thank you for this web site.
