On July 4th I had a tooth ache. On the 5th I went to urgent care where they gave me penicillin and told me to see a dentist as soon as possible. On the 7th I went to the VA dentist, where they took x-ray of my lower jaw and gave me amoxicillin vice penicillin. They said that tooth had to be pulled. On the 12th I went back to the VA dentist, where they took an x-ray of my upper jaw and told me that I needed a root-canal on my upper tooth. I tried to get an appointment to get my tooth pulled — I called and left messages at the for three days in a row before they called me back. I went in in late July and was seen for a walk-in appointment after hours of waiting. The dentist confirmed that I needed to have a root-canal on my upper tooth and have my lower tooth pulled. They gave me an appointment for OCTOBER to have my lower tooth pulled. That is over three months with a tooth ache. To top it all off, when I put in for travel, they told me they would only pay for one way because it was a walk-in appointment.
